The Suhina excursion site is a family-owned hospitality venue designed in an old-town style, located on the banks of the Sava River near the Podsused Bridge. Since 1919, when Josip Suhina founded the establishment, it has offered guests a family atmosphere with traditional homemade cuisine and grilled dishes on charcoal.
The management of the venue has remained in the family, passed down through generations, and remains with the Suhina family to this day. Visitors have access to ample parking and a children's playground. In addition to indoor seating, during the warm months, there is a large terrace and covered veranda surrounded by greenery.
Traditional house specialties:
• breaded chicken with mashed potatoes
• trout from Žumberak prepared in miller's style with potatoes
• breaded carp with bean salad
• various stews with meat or sausage (cabbage stew, kale stew, mixed vegetable stew with dumplings, etc.)
Working hours:
Tue - Wed: Closed
Mon - Sat: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Sun: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Reservation and advance notice for larger groups are recommended.
Smoking is allowed on the terrace.
Inside: 60 persons
Terrace: 100 persons
Adjacent to the venue, there is a lawn for soccer, volleyball, and badminton, as well as a well-equipped children's playground.
Nearby is the Svetonedeljska cycling route, which passes by the Svetonedeljska lakes.
The Podsused promenade is located 300m from the establishment.
